Work Life Balance dalam Tekanan Lembur: Sebuah Studi Kualitatif

Abstract

Perubahan dalam lanskap kerja modern telah memperbesar intensitas lembur dan menimbulkan tantangan serius terhadap keseimbangan kehidupan dan pekerjaan (work-life balance) karyawan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi secara mendalam dampak lembur terhadap kondisi psikologis, sosial, dan fisik pekerja melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada karyawan PT. Tallasa Fifth Season dengan metode wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembur berlebihan berdampak signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental seperti stres dan depresi, menurunkan kualitas hubungan sosial akibat isolasi, serta menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan fisik seperti kelelahan kronis dan gangguan tidur. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa tekanan lembur tanpa kebijakan penyeimbang menurunkan kesejahteraan karyawan secara menyeluruh. Studi ini merekomendasikan penerapan kebijakan kerja fleksibel, peningkatan dukungan sosial, dan pemahaman ulang budaya kerja sebagai langkah strategis untuk mewujudkan work-life balance yang sehat dan berkelanjutan.
