Author Guidelines
Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to SIMANTECH Journal of Science and Technology are expected to follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth and efficient review and publication process.
1. General Requirements

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

The manuscript should be written in English using clear, concise, and academic language.

All manuscripts are subject to peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

There are no submission or article processing charges (APCs).
2. Manuscript Format
-
The manuscript must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
-
Use A4 paper size, 1-inch margins, 1.5 line spacing, and 12-point Times New Roman font.

The manuscript should follow the structure below:
Title Page

Title of the manuscript (concise and informative)
-
Full names of all authors
-
Affiliations of all authors
-
Corresponding author's email address
Abstract
-
A brief summary of the research (150–250 words)
-
Include purpose, methodology, results, and conclusion
-
Include 3–5 keywords
Main Text Structure
-
1. Introduction
Background, research problem, objectives, and significance. -
2. Methodology
Description of methods, tools, materials, and procedures used. -
3. Results and Discussion
Presentation and analysis of findings. Results should be supported with tables/figures if necessary. -
4. Conclusion
Summary of key findings, implications, and recommendations for future research.

Use APA (7th edition) citation style.

Ensure that all references cited in the text appear in the reference list and vice versa.

At least 80% of references should be from recent (last 10 years) and reputable sources such as journals or conference proceedings.
3. Tables and Figures

All tables and figures must be numbered and titled.
-
Place tables and figures within the text, close to where they are first referenced.

Ensure image resolution is high enough for clear viewing (minimum 300 dpi for figures).
4. Submission Procedure

Manuscripts must be submitted via the official journal submission system or by email (insert email if applicable).

Upon submission, authors will receive a confirmation email.

The peer review process takes approximately 4–8 weeks.
5. Ethical Considerations
-
Authors must ensure the originality of their work and avoid plagiarism.
-
All data must be obtained ethically, and any conflicts of interest must be declared.

6. Copyright and Licensing

All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Authors retain copyright but grant the journal the right of first publication.
